I love God, adventure, design, travel and the outdoors. I was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and lived there until I was two. I have lived in Georgia for most my life. I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home and have a Christian education for elementary, middle, and most of high school.

After my sophomore year of College I took a job at Heavenly Ski Resort in South Lake Tahoe, California. I worked at Heavenly for five months and loved it. Skiing has always been my favorite sport, and getting the opportunity to be independent and living in one of the most beautiful places on earth while skiing almost everyday was a life changing experience.

After my junior year I decided to hit the road again and landed a job in the guest services department at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado. I immediately fell in love with Colorado’s beauty, people, and outdoors attitude. I lived and worked at Breckenridge for five months before returning to Georgia only to pack up and head to Kaohsiung, Taiwan for a two-month study abroad opportunity with Auburn’s Industrial Design Department! I loved experiencing new cultures, seeing new places, and making new friends.

Upon returning from Taiwan I immediately left for a mission trip to Tanzania. I was blessed with the opportunity to minister to people of a small village my parents' church has adopted there, and once again got to experience a new culture and people. I had the amazing opportunity to go on safari and see some of the most amazing animals in God’s kingdom in their natural habitat!! Later, I, along with eight others from my parents' church attempted and, by God’s grace, succeeded in climbing the world’s tallest free standing mountain – Mt. Kilimanjaro - elevation 19,340FT. This was a defining point in my life and an experience I will never forget.

Since graduating in 2005, I have worked for the world's leading ergonomics consulting firms as Art Director re-designing their website, updating their corporate identity, publications and marketing material, as well as creating a graphic standards manual and planning and implementing an organizational system for future designers to follow. While working on a free lance contract during this time I improved and implemented a design for a physical therapy device that is now being mass produced and made available to the consumer market. You can check it out here.
In 2007 I completed a self-funded six month around-the-world-tour visiting over 70 cities in more than 20 countries across 5 continents. After returning to the states I took a job working for Apple Retail and was quickly recognized as a leader, hired full time and appointed to be a mentor responsible for new hire training as well as ongoing training of co-workers . I was soon offered a position in the genius training program, but instead took a great opportunity to go full time for the IT department of North Point Community Church working with over four hundred employees using Apple computers and in charge of monitoring and improving customer relations and response and repair time as well as implementing a training program for new and current IT contractors and volunteers.

On August 29th 2009 I got married to my best friend and the most amazing woman in the world, Valerie. Marriage has been amazing so far and marrying Valerie has been the best decision I have ever made! She helps me to see the world from a different perspective and become a more caring and well rounded person. After our wedding, Valerie and I took a three week honeymoon to Thailand and Cambodia before starting our new life together teaching and living in Ulsan, South Korea for a year. You can check out our travel blog here.
While working I have been able to accomplish multiple tasks meeting strict deadlines within budget requirements. During my time at Auburn and since my departure from the University, I have been continually improving my skills in design technique, Information Technology, Graphic User Interface Design, computer aided design, Illustration and project management just to name a few. Problem Solving is my passion - it is what I love to do, and as such I gladly spend many personal hours keeping up to date on the latest products, technology and design trends.

I am always open to new employment opportunities and am happy to answer any questions or provide any additional information or materials to help us determine if we would be a good fit for each other in a business relationship.
